Our Office

Dr. Rogers and Dr. Mink are native to New Mexico and grew up in the Albuquerque area. They first met in middle school when Dr. Mink invited Dr. Rogers to his 14th birthday party and they’ve been friends ever since. Both attended and graduated from Moriarty High School (go Pintos!). After high school Dr. Rogers and Dr. Mink were roommates at Brigham Young University, where they graduated in 2008. After BYU, they finally split ways to further their dental education on opposite sides of the country. In 2016, Dr. Rogers and Dr. Mink reunited at Desert Ridge Dental where they continue to expand their education and provide exceptional care to their community and patients. They are thrilled to be working together again and strive to create the best dental experience possible for their patients!

MEET OUR TEAM

DR. JACOB ROGERS

Dr. Rogers attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, where he graduated with honors. Returning to Albuquerque, he completed a residency at UNM, where he received advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, sedation dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Since his residency, he has been practicing in the Albuquerque area and in 2015 joined the team at Desert Ridge Dental.

Committed to clinical excellence, Dr. Rogers continues to improve his knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care for his patients. In 2018, Dr. Rogers earned his Fellowship status in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and in 2022 was admitted to the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA) College of Sedation as a Master in Parenteral (IV) Sedation. Both honors recognize his advanced training and commitment to offering high quality, safe and effective treatment in dental implants and sedation care.

Dr. Rogers enjoys spending time with his family, coaching and playing soccer, cheering on our New Mexico United soccer team and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

DR. KEVIN MINK

Dr. Mink attended dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. While there, Dr. Mink qualified for the Military’s Health Professions Scholarship Program. After graduating dental school, Dr. Mink embarked on 4 years of active duty military service in El Paso, Texas.

While serving in the military, Dr. Mink participated in over 100 hours of continuing education and was trained in advanced dental techniques by several dental specialists. He was consistently rated among the top 10% of dental officers because of his passion for education and commitment to his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Mink spends most of his time with his wife and 4 children. He’s an avid college football fan and loves to attend sporting events with his dad and brothers.
